Research TikTok trends, posting times, keywords, hashtags and content ideas, then review your video draft with timestamped feedback. Social Expert by ForUsApps, LLC provides these tools through a hosted MCP server.

Use the website, or connect an MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth. No local server is required. Social Expert is independent and is not affiliated with TikTok.

Connect the hosted MCP server

Create a Social Expert account on socialexpert.app using Google or confirmed email and password.
In a compatible client's remote MCP or custom connector settings, add the HTTPS server address below. For Claude, see the step-by-step setup guide.
Complete the Social Expert OAuth sign-in and review the permissions. Clients that support dynamic registration can register automatically; no shared API key is required.

The transport is Streamable HTTP. Authentication uses OAuth with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Availability of custom connectors and in-chat panels depends on your client, account and plan. ChatGPT and Claude directory submissions are under review; this guide does not imply public directory approval.

How do credits and video reviews work?

Free accounts include 10 one-time research lookups and 3 one-time video reviews. They do not reset each month. Paid monthly plans are available, and allowances are shared across the website and connected chat apps. Check your account for current prices, balances and billing period.

Research lookups and video reviews are separate. Opening the video analyzer and previewing a file do not start analysis. Choose Analyze to start processing. One completed video report uses one review; reading a retained report does not use another review. Uploaded videos and saved reports are retained for 14 days. Is this a TikTok scraping or ads API?

No. Social Expert supports content planning and draft feedback. It does not offer bulk profile or comment scraping, TikTok Ads campaign management, posting or scheduling, private follower-account analytics, or editing and exporting a finished video. Keyword indicators are relative scores, not search-volume counts. Feedback does not guarantee views, growth or virality.

Can an agent discover the tool details?

The public capability summary lists the endpoint, authentication, tool names, example questions and limitations in JSON. The plain-text guide links the same public documentation. After OAuth connection, clients can discover the current tool schemas through MCP. These public files contain no credentials or account data.

Social Expert is also in the official MCP Registry and has a Glama connector listing. A directory listing does not guarantee that every client can authenticate; Glama's authenticated health check remains unverified.
