Connect Claude

1. Open Claude’s connectors and add a custom connector named Social Expert.
2. Use this server address: https://api.socialexpert.app/functions/v1/mcp.
3. Choose Sign in now and Register automatically if Claude asks for OAuth settings.
4. Sign in to Social Expert with Google or a confirmed email/password account, review the permissions and approve access.
5. Enable Social Expert in a Claude conversation and ask a question. Claude may ask permission before running a tool.

Custom connector availability depends on your Claude account and plan. A directory listing is being prepared; these steps use the custom connector.

Start with a goal

“Help me get started with Social Expert.”

• Ideas: share your niche, audience and what you want to make. Try “Give me TikTok ideas for a local coffee shop.”
• Trends: name your audience market. Try “Show me TikTok video formats for a US audience.” Ask about a returned trend to explore its examples and associated sounds.
• Posting times: provide your audience market and display timezone. Try “When should I post for a US audience? Show Pacific time.”
• Keywords and hashtags: share the topic or a short caption. Try “Suggest keywords and hashtags for a beginner iced latte tutorial.”

Review a video draft

1. Ask “Open the video analyzer so I can preview my draft.”
2. Choose an MP4 or MOV in the panel and preview it. Opening the panel or selecting a file does not start a review.
3. Choose Analyze to upload and start processing. Wait for the actual result.
4. Review the scores, timestamped feedback and recommended edits. Ask follow-up questions about the saved report without starting another analysis.

You can also use the tools and video analyzer on the Social Expert website with the same account. Uploaded videos and saved reports are retained for 14 days under our privacy policy.

Understand your usage

Research lookups and video reviews are separate. A successful research result set uses one lookup, regardless of the number of returned ideas or tags. Trend and sound details, failed or empty lookups, and identical research reopened within 30 minutes use no additional lookup. One completed video report uses one video review. Reading saved feedback does not use another review.

Free accounts include 10 one-time research lookups and 3 one-time video reviews. Free allowances do not reset each month. Paid plan allowances follow the billing period shown in your account. Usage is shared across the website and connected chat apps. Check your account for your current balances and plan.

What the results mean

Research provides regional and topic-based guidance, rather than personal follower analytics. Keyword indicators are relative scores, not search counts or predicted views. Associated sound details are not a music-catalog search or a licensing guarantee. Video feedback recommends changes; Social Expert does not edit/export finished videos or publish posts. No tool guarantees views, growth or virality.

If something does not work

If a panel fails to load, use its visible retry action or open the website. Check the connected account and allowance before starting a new review. Do not repeatedly start analysis for the same pending job. If access to a sound or research result is unavailable, share the error with support@forusapps.com.
